This Project shows the history, movements, and "waves" that have changed the environment of coffee experience. Brazilians have changed the habitual routine from having regular coffee to choosing specialized places for that practice. This project also proves that, when there is a process of renovation for degraded or abandoned buildings, as result there is improvement in its urban value, movement for local economy and better security in the neighborhood, can influence the value, movement, and security, as well as preserving a Historic building, the Central Station. The research presents references, with an introductory and didactic function, aiming the sharing of the information collected, besides the presentation of the draft of a Coffee Appreciation Center, which will be composed of a coffee shop, CAFÉ-LAB (Coffee Laboratory), and a store for sale coffee items, the GRAO STORE.
